Rampart AI™ Announces New Rampart™ Capability to Fortify Any Application Process Including Containerized Applications

Melbourne, FL

Rampart AI™, a leading provider of AI-driven application resilience solutions, announced today a new capability for its Rampart™ product. Rampart™ can now monitor any application process, including those that run inside containers.

As organizations increasingly adopt cloud-based architectures for their applications, ensuring the resilience and reliability of these applications has become more important than ever.

Rampart™ enables developers to build more secure, reliable, and resilient applications, with automated detection and alerting of vulnerabilities that can impact the performance and availability of their application. Rampart™ alerts to anomalies in applications based on dynamically generated rules set for each application.

"We are excited to announce this new capability for Rampart™, which will enable our customers to run more resilient and reliable applications," said Lee Krause, CEO of Rampart AI™. "As more organizations embrace containerization and cloud-native architectures, it's essential that they have the tools and technologies they need to ensure the resilience and reliability of their applications. With Rampart™, we're providing those tools and technologies, along with the expert support our customers need to succeed."

Rampart™ integrates seamlessly with software pipelines as part of a continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) process, and it can be used to monitor software already running in production today.

“We are excited to announce Rampart’s support for containers because containerization is an increasingly important application deployment technique,” said Jacob Staples, CPO of Rampart AI™. “Unlike other container monitoring tools that rely upon heuristics, hashes, and fingerprints, Rampart is entirely agnostic of how your organization builds its containers and what those containers are built from. Instead, it uses continuous container-aware system call auditing and machine learning to identify any unusual behavior that emerges within your containerized applications in production.”

With Rampart™ supporting containers, applications written in any language can be fortified with Rampart™.

“A great example of Rampart™ in action is when you are running an application in the cloud," Krause said. "You are counting on someone to maintain the cloud for you, but no one is really watching to make sure your applications are doing what you think, and so Rampart™ can be there to provide insight and ultimately to defend the application.”
